On arrival at the Bandaranayaka International Airport, you will get your first taste of warm Sri Lankan hospitality; Representative from Travego Sri Lanka (Pvt) Limited will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to Kithulgala.

Enjoy a session of White Water Rafting.
This thrilling adventure on the white water section of the Kelani River is suitable for amateurs as well as professionals alike. During the run, you will experience the thrill of shooting rapids and euphoria of making it through. The river''s clear water is born in the heart of the peak wilderness reserve and tumbles through a rocky george just above Kithulgala. As the river widens, you will pass the scenic location used to film - "Bridge over the river Kwai" which was filmed in 1956, a good place to jump in for a refreshing swim. On a clear day, you may even dive to see the remains of the actual bridge and the carriages used for the film (only for experienced divers with proper equipment).

Visit Belilena caves. This is a famous large cave in Sri Lanka. It is located 8km from the town of Kitulgala. It holds evidence of a lost generation of Sri Lankans some 12,000 years old; at this time the cave was occupied by Balangoda Man, described as Homo sapiens balangodensis by Paul E. P. Deraniyagala, who found ten skeletons of these people. They lived 2000 feet above sea level. It is believed they lived than 32,000 years ago.

During the season (DEC – MAY) Start the climb to Adams Peak early morning. During the off season (JUN – NOV) start the climb to Adams Peak during the day time.
Adams Peak is known locally as Sri Pada and is Sri Lanka's fourth highest mountain at 2,243 meters. It is one of the island's most important pilgrimage sites and is situated in the Ratnapura district. The giant footprint at the top is the attraction and is sacred to Buddhists, Hindus and Muslims. The conical shaped mountain is worth the climb for the views and spiritual experience regardless of your belief.
Climb down Adams Peak and transfer to Nuwaraeliya.

With packed breakfast visit to Horton Plains.
Horton Plains is located on a high windswept saddle at about 7000-ft elevation. The Plains are an expanse of misty grassland with scraggy trees and ice-cold rivulets. Visit World's End considered to be the finest view in all of Sri Lanka. The awesome escarpment drops vertically for about 4000 ft, hence its named as Horton Plains. Here you could find endemic Slender Loris and endemic Purple Monkeys amongst the animal species that can be seen.
Thereafter transfer to Tissamaharama. Enroute visit Kataragama.
Kataragama is perhaps the most visited holy places in the country. Hindus, Buddhists and Muslims flock to the shrines located there. The deity most often associated with Kataragama is Skanda. Buddhists travel to Kataragama ostensibly to visit the Kirivehera, a dagoba where the Buddha is said to have meditated in his 3rd and final visit to Sri Lanka.
